Terms of Use
These terms cover ThreadPool from YourAmaryllis. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. The privacy policy is part of this agreement. Not legal advice.
The product
ThreadPool clusters work from services you connect (Slack, GitHub, Jira, Google, IMAP, Lightfield, and later others) into topics in a desktop or mobile app and may show context during meetings. It is in active development and provided as is during beta. Features can change, break, or be withdrawn. Clustering can be wrong. Do not use it as the sole record of a legal or compliance decision.
Your account
You must be 16+ and able to sign in with an email you control. You are responsible for the accounts you connect and for following those vendors’ terms. You may only connect workspaces, orgs, and Jira sites you are allowed to authorize. If your employer forbids shadow IT, that is your problem. We are a personal tool until Team exists.
What we may do
On your behalf, and only with the scopes you grant, we read the places you picked and write encrypted summaries into your ThreadPool account. We do not post to Slack, comment on GitHub, or transition Jira issues in this version.
What you must not do
- Use ThreadPool to scrape or resell other people’s conversations.
- Probe, overload, or reverse the service except as the law allows.
- Share access in a way that evades per-user Connect.
- Use the service to violate a platform’s terms in a way that gets the ThreadPool Slack, GitHub, or Atlassian apps banned. We may suspend accounts that threaten those apps for everyone.
Meetings
You must follow recording and consent laws where you are, including two-party consent states. Default capture does not put a bot in the call. Captions or on-device audio can still be a recording under some laws. Announce or obtain consent. We are not liable if you do not.
Paid plans
Pro is billed by Stripe (monthly or $144/year). Fees are non-refundable except where law requires. We may change prices with notice. The Checkout price is what you pay until renewal. Free and beta entitlements can change.
AI
Answers and HUD cards can be wrong. Citations are the source of truth. Company-provided models are rate-limited. If you use your own key, you pay that vendor.
IP
You keep your content. We keep the software. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without owing you money.
No warranty
The service is provided as is. We do not promise uninterrupted access, complete ingest, or that a summary is correct. Keep the originals in Slack, GitHub, Jira, and mail.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, YourAmaryllis and ThreadPool are not liable for lost work, missed meetings, clustering mistakes, lost profits, lost data at a vendor, or indirect damages. Total liability for a claim about ThreadPool is limited to the fees you paid us for ThreadPool in the prior twelve months, or $50 if you paid nothing.
Governing law
California, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If we form ThreadPool, Inc. (Delaware), these terms may be assigned to that corporation.
